Our founders
The hearts behind redtreat
redtreat was founded by Nikola Lopatic and Stefan Budimirovic. As passionate advocates for modern wellness technology, we’ve made it our mission to make high-quality red light solutions accessible for home use — because wellness shouldn’t just be a luxury found in spas, but something you can easily integrate into your daily routine.
Nikola brings a medical background to redtreat and a relentless drive to push his limits — in business and in sport alike. Whether building companies or chasing a new personal best, he holds himself to high standards, which often came at the cost of tension and long recovery periods.
Exploring the science behind light, Nikola began using light therapy to optimise his own recovery and focus. It helps him reset after demanding days and physical exertion, supporting his well-being so he can perform at his best — the experience that convinced him redtreat had to exist.
Stefan brings deep technical expertise in the field of light. With years of hands-on experience in lighting technology, he understands exactly what separates a well-engineered device from an ordinary one — from the individual components to the finished product.
This know-how shapes every redtreat device. Stefan is obsessed with getting the details right: clean and consistent light output, reliable build quality, and technology that simply works — so customers can trust what they bring into their home.
